After Bajrang, Ravi Dhaiya wins bronze too

Young Ravi Dhaiya won India another bronze at the world wrestling championship in Nur-Sultan. Showing brilliant composure, attacking skills and strength Dhaiya defeated the Asian Champion Reza ATRINAGHARCHI of Iran to win the 3rd bronze for India in this world championships.

Dhaiya won the bout 6-3 against the Iranian. 23 year old Indian is on song this world championship as his scalps includes world champions wrestler from Japan and now the Asian champion Reza from Iran. On Thursday lost out to reigning world champion Zavur Uguev of Russia in the semi-finals but without any doubt can be termed as India’s man of this world championship with his brilliant performance.

Dhaiya last year won Under 23 world championship silver medal. This is the best medal haul for India at the world championship. Never ever Indian wrestling squad has won more than 2 medals at one single event.
