Could these 2 WWE Superstar join AEW?

A Twitter conversation between Erik of The Viking Raiders and Broken Matt Hardy has led to murmurs of social media of a possible switch for the Vikings to join AEW when their contract expires.

The interaction started when Hardy shared a tweet of a match from a few years back in Oklahoma when Eric and Ivar faced the Hardy Boyz. Back then Eric and Ivar were known as the War Machine. The match took place in 2016 in Ring of Honour right after which both the teams had signed for WWE.

Hardy wrote, “This clip recently resurfaced.. A few years ago in Oklahoma, the #BROKEN Hardys had an experience with The Viking Raiders. They’re a TREMENDOUS team & it was a helluva match!”

To this Erik — one half of the Viking Raiders — responded, ““Until we meet again my friend. @MATTHARDYBRAND @JEFFHARDYBRAND @Ivar_WWE #jointheraid”.

Hardy was quick to respond again saying, “I anxiously await that meeting”. And this time, Ivar the other half of the tag team took the opportunity to call for a rematch.

This conversation between these superstars gives a possible hint of the Viking Raiders switches sides with WWE’s rival company. Also, if the match between The Vikings and Hardy Boyz is going to happen then it would likely take place outside the WWE as Matt’s days as a WWE superstar are behind him. Jeff’s contract is due to expire somewhere late this year or early next year. As for the Viking Raiders, there is no information of their contract.
