India’s biggest hope Bajrang Punia has crashed out of the world championship from the last 4 stage. 30 year old Daulet Niyazbekov, the local boy from Kazakhstan stunned Bajrang in a hard fought battle.
Last year’s finalist and the top seed Bajrang made a great comeback in the last one minute of the bout. From being down 3-9, Bajrang equalled the score at 9-9 in the dying seconds in a see-saw bout. But that was not enough for Bajrang to win the bout. Kazakh wrestler was declared the winner in lieu of best scoring move of the match.
