The champion of world in 2019 in 70kg David Baev of Russia has entered the finals of the Grand Prix of Ivan Yarygin in Krasnoyarsk on the day 1 of the competitions.The prestigious international tournament in freestyle and women’s wrestling showcased many world beaters in action on the opening day. Baev will play his Russian counterpart Israil Kasurmov for the gold medal on the day 2. Kasurmov created a huge upset by defeating Chermien Valiev by 7-2.
Russian male freestyle wrestlers completely dominated proceeding on the day 1 as no other
wrestler outside Russia could even make it to the semi-finals. In the women section Russian women faced stiff challenge from Mongolian and Japan wrestlers.
