Now, Indian Railways is thinking over starting online classes for its wrestlers. Taking a cue from the Sports Authority of India (SAI), it has also decided to conduct online classes for its athletes. A camp for railway wrestlers was proposed in March, but it was cancelled in the wake of Covid-19. For the past four months, the wrestlers have been at home without any practice. To resume training, the railway coaches want the board to hold online classes for grapplers
“The wrestlers are confined to their homes since March. Online classes will be a good way to keep them fit and motivated. They will also help coaches stay in touch with wards,” said a coach, reported The New Indian Express. RSPB is expected to take a call soon. The coaches believe classes might start in August.

Training camp for wrestlers:
There is no news about when can Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) resume its training camp. SAI has put it on hold as top wrestlers are not yet ready to return to the camp. While Sakshi Malik and Pooja Dhanda have strongly opposed the idea. As for Divya Kakran, Anshu and Sonam they have suggested holding the camp next month (August). SAI will reassess their decision in the first week of August and decide the fate of the wrestling camp for the Olympics.
