It is Day 1 of Russian Freestyle Championship which is being held in Naro. The competition will be held from October 15 to 19. On the first day of the competition, three weight categories — 57kg, 61kg and 65kg — will compete for the podium finish. In 57kg, twin world champion Zavur Uguev and Gamzatov have been seeded. The highlight would be the 65kg weight category where world champion Gadhzimurad Rashidov will compete.
The event will be held behind closed doors as part of the precautionary measure against COVID-19. However, the live streaming of the championship will be available on youtube.
