Sarita was born (16/04/1995) in a Baroda village, Sonipat, Haryana. She is currently working in Indian Railways (joined in 2015). Since childhood she used to be a sports enthusiast started with kabaddi as it was famous in school but ended up with wrestling. She practised wrestling in CBSM Sports School, Medaniu, Haryana at the age of 12. Her best wrestling fight was when she defeated Pooja Dhanda in the trail in Lucknow for world wrestling championship, 2019. She is inspired by Sushil Kumar as one of the best wrestling player and her favourite sports are basketball and kabaddi. In 2011 National Championship she had a shoulder dislocation injury so she was out for practice in 2012 and it looked like she will never be able to play again but in 2013 came back and rest is history. Later she married wrestler Rahul Mann on 1st March 2017
