Five freestyle wrestlers of the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) is all set to partake in the 64th Men Freestyle, Greco Roman Style and 22nd Women Senior National Wrestling Championships schedule to be held at PAP Complex, Jalandhar, Punjab from November 28 to December 1. The Championship is being organized by the Punjab Wrestling Association (PWA) under the aegis of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI).
Four Wrestlers namely Keduovilie Zumu-97 Kg, Megosier Khate-92 Kg, Thechamo Murry-65 Kg and Kaisiwang Nring-61 Kg left for Dimapur this evening after short briefing in the NWA Office, Kohima. Vikieto Kapu-57 Kg along with Coach Chisazo Dawhuo who are already in Delhi will join the 4 members to proceed to Jalandhar.
In a short briefing NWA President, Neivikuolie Khatsü encouraged them to built firm confident in them and urge them to keep themselves committed to God in all their pursuance. Conveying the best wishes on behalf of the NWA in particular and the entire Nagas in general, he is also of the confident that, all 5 wrestlers would come back home with beautiful decorated medals. NWA Vice President, Mitwatei Hebwang and Joint Secretary Petekhriezo also spoke and conveyed their wishes to the participating wrestlers.
