Geeta Phogat is to Indian women’s wrestling what Sushil Kumar is to Indian men’s wrestling. It is she who broke the age-old stereotypes related to women in India and became India’s first CWG champion in 2010. She is also the first Indian woman wrestler to qualify for the Olympics in 2012. Now, after a long hiatus from the sport due to pregnancy, she has decided to make her comeback. And she has set her new goal ahead of the return.
On her Instagram account, Geeta says that she wants to make her father proud further. “???? ???? ?? ?? ??? ????? ??”.
