Welcome back to the Social Room of WrestlingTV.in, the only place to catch all the inside stories in the world of wrestling. Social Room is a special series that enables you to have a peek in the lives of the wrestler outside the mat.

Earlier this week, Bajrang Punia had made a massive donation to Haryana’s Coronavirus Relief Fund. He made the announcement on Twitter and garnered praise from Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju. Now, Sangeeta Phogat has also lauded Bajrang’s contribution.

She took to Instagram and said that she is so lucky to have him as her ‘life-partner’.

Sangeetaphogat – मुझे आप पर बहुत गर्व है । आप देश ओर समाज का नाम रोशन कर रहे हो ।आपको अपना जीवनसाथी बना कर मुझे बहुत खुशी है । @bajrangpunia60 ️

Vinesh Phogat -This was every athlete’s worst fear and it has come true:( Everybody knows that competing at the Olympics is the toughest test for an athlete but I believe waiting for an opportunity to be on that stage is tougher!
I don’t really know what to say right now but inside me there is a rollercoaster of emotions! ..
.
This is a very crucial time for the world and the greater sporting fraternity. Though I am very deeply disappointed, it is important more than ever to see the silver lining in this dark cloud. Now is the time for all of us to be stronger than ever, keep fighting these extraordinary circumstances and believe with all our might that we will overcome this challenge We need to summon all our reserves of determination, refocus, and work towards our goals! While there is more to this chapter, a new story is already being written, but WE WILL OVERCOME! ..
.
We are all together in this, one world, one goal! This is that unique chance to do something for your family, your community, your country, and OUR world!  #Tokyo202one 🇮🇳

Helen Maroulis- I’m grateful to see that Olympism has remained intact throughout the years. From the Ancient Olympic Games, where Olympic truces were enacted so that athletes could travel from their cities to the games in safety—to now, where in the midst of uncertainty and a pandemic—IOC leaders and many others came together to make the right decision to postpone the 2020 Olympic Games. ⁣

As athletes we know what it’s like to have to adjust to plan B, to rise above challenges and to be resilient in the pursuit. ⁣
⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣
Thankful we have another year to safely pursue our dreams. Looking forward to when the whole world gets to celebrate together the beauty of athleticism, competition, and the ideals of the Olympic movement. ⁣

Until then, stay safe friends ️ #olympics #teamusa #athletes #covid_19 #safetyfirst #tokyo2020 #tokyo2021
