Thrice Asian Champion wins battle against Covid-19

Iran wrestler Hossein Nouri was tested negative for Covid-19 and has been released from the hospital. The wrestler was admitted to the hospital after showing symptoms for the virus. The Iran Wrestling Federation (IWF) immediately followed up on the medical condition. The 87kg wrestler’s treatment will continue for now. “The Iran wrestling community wishes him good health and complete recovery,” reported IWF.

Who is Hossein Nouri?
Nouri won a bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships in Paris. The 87kg wrestler also won three gold medals in Asian Championships in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Nouri also claimed a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games.
