U23 World Championship: Pooja vs Okuno ‘Battle for Gold’ LIVE on WrestlingTV @10.30PM

The ‘Battle of Gold’, most intriguing bout between India’s upcoming wrestler and the all-conquering Haruna, is slated for 10:30 pm today (Friday).

Haruna has a unique distinction of winning the gold medal every time she has participated in a UWW World Championship – ranging from cadet to the senior level.  Her impressive wrestling profile reads five gold medals at the UWW World Championships – 52 kg gold at the Cadet World Championships 2016; 55 kg gold at the U-23 World Championships 2017; 55 kg gold at the Seniors World Championships 2017; 53kg gold at the Seniors World Championships 2018 and the 53kg gold at the Juniors World Championships 2019. 
Eyeing to halt the Haruna juggernaut, Pooja is not new to the golden challenge at major events. The Indian challenger’s  golden haul includes titles at the Junior Asian Championship 2017,  Taiwan; Junior National Championship 2015, Ranchi; U-23 National Championship 2019, Shirdi; and the Bharat Kesari Title 2018 at Bhiwani, Haryana.
