The U23 World Championships begins in two days. The third edition of the U23 World Wrestling Championships will be hosted by Budapest, Hungary from October 28. The Women’s freestyle in the last 2 editions is dominated by the wrestlers from and once again they will be force to reckon with especially 20 year old Haruna Okuno.

Okuno has unique record to her cadet. Record of winning each and every world title at every age level. She won the cadet World Gold in 2016, Junior World Title in 2019, U23 World Title in 2017, Senior World titles in 2017 & 2018.

Paliha Paliha (China) – 76 kg – 2019 Senior World bronze medalist and 2018 U23 World champion
Haruna Okuno (Japan) – 53 kg – World champion at every age level, including 2016 Cadet World title, 2019 Junior World title, 2017 U23 World title and Senior World champion in 2017 and 2018
Saki Igarashi (Japan) – 55 kg – 2018 Junior and U23 World champion, 2019 Junior World bronze medalist and 2015 Cadet World silver medalist
Sae Nanjo (Japan) – 57 kg – 2017 and 2019 Junior World champion, 2018 Junior World silver medalist and 2015 Cadet World bronze medalist
