The wrestling crazy city of Tbilisi, Georgia is ready for another edition of the
UWW Veterans World Wrestling Championship where wrestlers of more than 60 countries will participate. Indian challenge will be spearheaded by Arjuna Award winner veteran wrestler Kripa Shankar who will lead the 17 member team at the world championships.

Competition Rules & Events
The competition will be held in the five age categories and for all age categories, the weight classes will be identical. The duration of the bouts is fixed as follows for all age categories: – Two periods of 2 minutes with a 30-second break.
Age Categories – 35 – 40 years / 41 – 45 years / 46 – 50 years / 51 – 55 years / 56 – 60 years
Weight Categories – 55-62-70-78-88-100-130kg
