Vinesh Phogat, 26, will likely join the women’s national camp in Lucknow in March post her foreign tours, according to SAI.
The Women’s camp resumed on February 5, post the women nationals, which were held in Agra. The training camp will end on March 31.
“The ongoing NCOE Lucknow Women’s Wrestling camp began on Feb 5 and will go on till March 31. A total of 40 wrestlers, including the January National Championships medallists, are participating.
“TOPS Athlete Vinesh Phogat would join the camp likely in March post her foreign tours,” SAI tweeted.
Vinesh is currently training with her coach Woller Akos and sister Priyanka in Poland. The Haryana-born is one of the four wrestlers who have won India an Olympic berth after winning a medal at World Championship in 2019.
