The Wrestling Federation of India has announced 30 member squad to represent India at the Asian Under-15 athletics championship. The squad has been selected after WFI conducted trials for the hopefuls in Sonepat (Boys) and Lucknow (Girls). The last U-15 Asian Wrestling championships were hosted separately for both boys and girls. Indian girls performed brilliantly in the last Asian U-15 championships hosted at Fujimi, Japan by winning 3 gold medals. Indian girls finished only behind hosts Japan in the team rankings with 181 points.
