Indian wrestler-cum-police officer Rahul Aware is keen to go out and serve the country amidst Coronavirus crisis. He is currently undergoing police training in Nashik has expressed his desire to go out in the field to help people combat the pandemic. “I would like to be out there and help people in this situation. First I represented my country by donning the wrestling singlet, now I would like to do the same by wearing the khaki uniform”.
With no wrestling, Rahul Aware eager to don police uniform to fight Corona“Currently, we are not allowed to go out. But if my seniors allow me then I am ready for it,” Aware, 28, told WrestlingTV.
Aware is 2019 World Championship bronze medallist. He has also won a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. He also won the bronze medal at 2020 Asian Championships.
