Wrestling News: Ukraine’s Greco-Roman team has resumed training and after spending a week at the Koncha-Zaspan Olympic Center, the wrestlers decided to week their training methods. To improve their balancing, the wrestlers decided to train on the water. Wrestler Andrei Kulik said, “Keeping a balance on the water is a little harder than standing confidently on the carpet and therefore it was a good way of balance training,” reported Ukraine Federation.
The report added that Arthur Politaev, Maxim Yevtushenko, Semyon Novikov, Yaroslav Filchakov, Elmar Nuraliev, Alexander Shishman, Vladlen Kozlyuk, Alexander Chernetskiy did very well in the training session. However, the practice session had its own fun moments as some wrestlers turned over due to lack of experience of balancing on the water.
Nonetheless, the exercise was a good way to recover and get rid of all the negativity. “Water generally relieves fatigue and negativity,” says Natalia Krivorot, doctor of the national team said.
