Over thirty wrestlers have been found positive for Covid. While it is bad news for WWE as a company, WWE superstars have found a silver lining amid the current situation.
REASON 1: WWE wrestlers get time to heal minor injuries
WWE superstars take a lot of courage and put their on the line every week. And with high flying manoeuvres comes high risk. Wrestlers sustain minor injuries which eventually get big due to the demanding profession. But the current situation has given them time to heal those niggles and come back stronger.
REASON 2: WWE wrestlers get a chance to spend time with family
Due to the demanding nature of the pro-wrestling sport, WWE superstars do not get many chances to spend quality time with their loved ones. They are mostly travelling and therefore has to stay away from home for long. But with Covid-19 situation, some wrestlers have finally got some sort of reconciliation with their family members.
REASON 3: Some WWE superstars are capitalising on the situation
WWE is currently running its WWE Smackdown LIVE and WWE Raw LIVE with a reduced roster. Due to this, some wrestlers who were shown the backseat have got a major push in their career. The best example to this is the title opportunity given to Dolph Ziggler against Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.
Another example is the absence of Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns. With them missing from action lesser-known wrestlers like Drew Gulak are getting a shot at the title.
