WWE SmackDown: The unexpected alliance of Nia Jax & Shyana Baszler have finally created the history at WWE Payback. This new duo defeated ‘the Golden Role Models’ Bayley & Sasha Banks at Payback for their Tag team Championships. However, ‘the Golden Role Models’ have got their rematch in tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live where they will face Jax & Baszler for their Tag team Championships.
Since SummerSlam, “The Golden Roles Models” have had their wealth of gold dissolve before their eyes. The Boss lost the Raw Women’s Championship to Asuka at The Biggest Event of the Summer, and then the two friends lost the Women’s Tag Team Titles to The Queen of Spades & The Irresistible Force at WWE Payback. Bayley & Banks were in disarray after the latest loss, as questions swirl about the strength of their bond.
Banks and Bayley have not seen much close since they defeated their titles but now they have another chance to prove the WWE Universe why they have called the modern greats tonight on SmackDown Live.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see whether Nia Jax & Shyana Baszler will protect their new titles or ‘the Golden Role Models’ will upset them this time.
