Ravi Kumar started wrestling at the age of the eleven at Chattrasal Academy, Delhi. He was born in Sonipat in the state of Haryana. His father is a wrestling lover and he sent him to some local Akhadas in the village for 2-3 days and then directly sent Ravi to Chattrasal Stadium at Delhi. Last year, he won a very close semi-final bout against Uzbekistan in u-23 World Championship held in Romania. The other sports he likes is football and his favourite football player is Cristiano Ronaldo. Ravi’s favourite actor is Akshay Kumar.
