ABOUT US
Delhi Amateur Wrestling Association is an integral part of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI). And at the Delhi State level, wrestling is the most important institution of sports. The association organises all the state level and district level wrestling Tournaments held in the region.

SHRI JAI PRAKASH ( PRESIDENT )
The Hind Kesari Olympian Mr. Jaiprakash was elected as the president of the Delhi Amateur Wrestling Association in August 2016. The honourable president of the association has the motto “If any wrestler in the area regardless of any caste community, rich or poor, male or female he/she will be provided adequate support. We also focuses on the advancement and technical development of the wrestling of Delhi. Thus, with this hope, the objective of the president proved to be a meaningful step towards changing the state of wrestling and direction of Delhi and he gives adequate help and guides all the akharas.”
