The Indian colts had a mixed start in the Under-15 Asian Wrestling Championships, which got underway at Taichung City in Chinese Taipei today (Friday).

The u-15 championships is being contested in boys freestyle, Greco Roman and the girls categories from November 22 to 24.
The Indian boys and girls signed off the Day One with 8 medals, including 2 golds and 6 silver medals.
India has fielded a 30-strong squad – ten athletes each for the boys’ freestyle, boys’ Greco Roman and the girls’ competition.
Wrestlers from 10 Asian countries, India, hosts Chinese Tai Pei, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan are participating in the championships.
