All Elite Wrestling superstar Chris Jericho recently reacted to Jeff Hardy’s arrest on WWE Smackdown. The former WWE wrestler in a live chat on Youtube and Facebook answered several fan questions out of which one was about his thoughts on the controversial Jeff Hardy storyline. To this, Y2J responded “I think it st**ks , I think it’s stupid. I think it’s a bad move on their part”.
Surprisingly, he is not alone with this opinion. A lot of fans too have reciprocated him and found the new angle absorb. The storyline saw “The Enigmatic Soul’ getting arrested for drunk driving, and ramming his vehicle into Elias. Following the incident, the guitar-clad WWE superstar was immediately rushed to the hospital. The angle received major backlash from the WWE Universe on social media.
The night did not end for Hardy here. Later, he returned to the ring during the main event and helped Daniel Bryan in defeating Sheamus to advance to the Intercontinental title tournament final. He made it look as if he was framed by the Celtic Warrior for the accident. Is it the starting of two new tag teams — Jeff and Bryan & Sheamus and Elias — or the start of a new rivalry between Jeff and Sheamus is yet to be seen. But whatever the new storyline hold, the WWE Universe can be sure of something exciting brewing for them.
