Hassan Rahimi Azadkar of Iran has been tested positive for covid-19. The Junior Asian freestyle wrestling championship bronze medallist was confirmed positive on Sunday after which he was admitted to Taleghani Hospital for treatment. Mohsen Kaveh, Technical director of the national freestyle wrestling team said, “Rahimi had been infected with the coronavirus for several days, and the wrestling federation made the necessary follow-ups to hospitalise this wrestler in Taleghani hospital for treatment could be followed as well as possible,” reported Iran Wrestling Federation.
He last competed at the 2018 club world championship where he won gold medal.
