Check what happened when Olympic Champion Helen Maroulis wrestled with a leading fashion designer !

2016 Rio Olympic gold medallist Helen Maroulis just like others is in quarantine due to COVID-19 outbreak. Nonetheless, she has still found a way to stay connected to her fans while making them do a fun activity at home. The USA grappler on Tuesday put up a challenge for her fans via an Instagram post. She uploaded a video which is an excerpt from the Project Runway Aftershow interview with fashion designer Christian Siriano.

“I’ve wrestled with some fashion decisions before but I’ve never wrestled a fashion designer. If anyone is looking for a home quarantine workout and feels up for picking up a family member (not in heels though, I don’t recommend that) then check out this tutorial and tag me in a video of you doing it. I’ll pick a winner in and send you some wrestling gear. The only requirement is that you stay home and stay safe. I also challenge all my non-wrestling friends to give this a go as well!,” she wrote.

During the conversation, Siriano expresses the desire to learn some wrestling moves and to which Helen readily agreed. The two time world champ displayed couple of techniques to Sirilano and have asked fans also to practice them. The 28-year-old has asked them to tag her the videos of the moves. The best videos will be awarded with wrestling gears from Helen’s side.

Helen is the two-time World Champion (2015 and ’17) and competes in the 57kg weight class. She has already qualified for Tokyo Games after securing a silver medal at the Pan-American Olympic Qualifiers.
