The coronavirus outbreak has completely put brakes on the plans of Indian wrestlers preparations for the Tokyo Olympics. After the cancellation of the National training camps for the Indian wrestlers, now the 10-member Indian Greco-Roman wrestling team that has been camping in Baku, Azerbaijan, has been called back by the Wrestling Federation of India.

The team, led by Georgian coach Temo Kasarashvili, has been asked to return to India. The team, which also includes Gyanendra (60kg), Ashu (67kg), Sajan (77kg), Sunil Kumar (87kg), Hardeep (97kg) and Naveen (130kg) along with chief coach Hargovind Singh, will reach New Delhi today.
Earlier after the instructions of Sports Authority of India, Indian wrestling queen Vinesh Phogat was asked to cut short her preparations in Norway. Vinesh returned back to India last week.
