Four members of the Hungarian wrestling team on Thursday tested positive for covid-19. Five members of the Hungary team which took part in an event in August had shown slight symptoms of the virus. When tested, four of them were tested positive and have been home quarantined in compliance with all epidemiological regulations.
Following this, the Hungarian Wrestling Association tested other members of the adult, junior and cadet national team, as well as the Swiss team training in Hungary. Luckily, the members have come negative. Meanwhile, Hungary will be hosting the national championship on September 19.
16 Olympics champions so far tested positive
From Usain Bolt to Abdulrashid Sadulaev, a total of 16 Olympics champions have been tested positive for covid-19 so far. This certainly puts a lot of questions on the future of Tokyo Olympics which were postponed due to the pandemic.
