The Italian Wrestling Federation will host the first ranking series event of the year 2020 in Rome. To prepare for the same and to give some home advantage to their wrestlers, the team of Italy has started their national camp at the same place where the ranking series event will be hosted. Frank Chamizo the most recognized and decorated wrestler of Italy has been named as the captain of the squad.
According to the former world champ Chamizo, “It is already time to devote body and soul to the Olympic year and all of us are on the long road that will lead to Tokyo. We want to give our best in the “Matteo Pellicone” Ranking Series event hosted in Rome”

The Rome ranking series is scheduled from 15 to 18 January and will host the best wrestlers in the world looking for qualification points.
