The Junior National Wrestling Championships will kick off today (Wednesday) at Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. It is the 39th Boys freestyle, Greco-Roman and 22nd Women Junior National Championships.
The tournament will begin with an opening ceremony on March 4, followed by Greco-Roman bouts in 55kg, 60kg, 63kg, 67kg, 72kg, 77kg, 82kg, 87kg, 97kg and 130kg.
The second day will witness women wrestling in 10 weight categories – 50kg, 53kg, 55kg, 57kg, 59kg, 62kg, 65kg, 68kg, 72kg and 76kg. Later in the day, two boys freestyle will also take place in 65kg and 74kg.
The final day will see the remaining eight freestyle categories in action – 57, 61, 70, 79, 86, 92, 97, and 125Kg.

In Greco-Roman 60kg – Maharashtra, Delhi-B, Haryana-A had got a bye and directly played in the Quarterfinals.
