Amidst the Coronavirus outbreak, the entire country is currently in lockdown mode. Staying indoors is the mantra that everyone is following. The self-isolation mode has given some time to everyone to pursue their hobbies. The dynamic President of Wrestling Federation of India Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is no different. Owing to his busy schedule, Brij Bhushan who is also the Member of Parliament from Kaiserganj, U.P hardly gets time to pursue his hobbies. One of them is spending time with his horses.
On Wednesday it was time for the WFI President to go down memory lane in his ancestral village amid the Coronavirus lockdown. He went out on a morning walk in his ranch with his two horses named “Badal and Bullet”. The two horses reminded him of his younger days. The WFI President said that he has fond memories of the days when he use to ride these horses in his village.
“You can call it anything, self-isolation or leisure time but it was good to be with Bullet and Badal at Vishram Singh Vatika in my ancestral village. Back in the days, I used to take stock of the entire area daily riding on Bullet. Those were beautiful and precious memories he have,” he wrote on his social handle.
Earlier, Bhushan on Monday donated Rs one crore from his next MPLAD installment to PM-CARES Fund to fight COVID-19 pandemic. He also announced a contribution of Rs 11 lakh on behalf of the WFI. On behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Wrestling Association, Bhushan also announced that they will contribute Rs five lakh towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
