Lyubista Pishko, Macedonia’s wrestling coach shared his experience in fighting the coronavirus. The Russian coach said that he called the emergency department because he had a high body temperature. The doctors prescribed him medicines but it did not help my health improve. Later, the hospital ran some tests and found that he was infected.
Last week I called the emergency department because my body temperature was high,” Pishko told Iran Wrestling Federation.
“The doctors prescribed medicine for me, but there was no improvement, and while I was nauseous, I called the emergency services again, and after a hospital experiment, my coronavirus test was positive,” he added.
Due to the infection, he said that he had a problem breathing normally and felt as if needles were piercing his lungs. It was so difficult that “I just prayed to god for my death”.
“I was in a terrible condition, I had a fever of 40 degrees, I couldn’t breathe and it was as if the needles were piercing my lungs,” said the coach, who now lives in Sweden. An artificial respirator was attached to me and I was receiving oxygen through the tubes attached to my nose. At that moment, I asked God for my death and told him to let me die as soon as possible, but God’s love and mercy were with me, and now my condition is better and I have some headaches and muscle aches, but my high body temperature has disappeared.
“Coronavirus is everywhere, stay home and take care of yourself,” the wrestling coach concluded.
