It has been eight months since Jordan Burroughs last stepped on the mat for the Pan American Championship where he won his fourth gold medal. Since then he has been training individually just like everyone else due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. But with the Tokyo Olympics approaching, the 2012 London Games gold medallist has decided to return to wrestling. He will be squaring off against Junior World silver medallist and two-time NCAA champion Zahid Valencia at a catchweight of 185lbs (83kg) on November 14. It will be an exhibition match organised by FloWrestling.
Besides this, there will be six more bouts which will take place on Saturday.
