Wrestling Lutte Canada, the national governing body for wrestling in Canada, has announced that they are ready to host the
Pan American Olympic Qualification tournament in Ottawa. The
Olympic Qualifiers for the Pan American Nations is scheduled for March 13-15. Up for grabs will be 36 berths in the 2020 Olympic Games for Pan American nations, two in each of the 18 Olympic weight classes. Nations may only enter athletes in weight classes in which they have not yet qualified for the Tokyo Olympics.
In addition, Wrestling Canada Lutte is also hosting the annual Pan American Championships the week prior, also at the Shaw Centre, March 6-9.
Tickets for the event priced at USD 75
The tickets are now available for two major international events being held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in March. Fans can order tickets now for the Pan American Olympic Qualification Tournament, to be held at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa, March 13-15. Fans can purchase a three-day all-session pass for the competition for $100 Canadian i.e USD 75. Another option is to purchase a day pass for $50 Canadian plus HST.
The United States will have 14 athletes entered in the Pan American Olympic Qualifier (four in men’s freestyle, four in women’s freestyle and six in Greco-Roman). It will be a very strong U.S. team, including many past World medalists. Fans are encouraged to come up to Ottawa to support Team USA at the tournament.
