Georgia Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has passed a new decree according to which the prize money for the Summer Olympics will not be increased. He has amended the Resolution of the Government of Georgia of January 6, 2014, on the approval of the State Target Programme for Supporting Georgian Athletes, as per the recorder news daily report.
The awards will continue to be distributed to the Olympic Games as follows:
1. At the Olympic Games:
A) I place – 170 000, team championship – 340 000;
B) II place – 102 000, team championship – 204 000;
C) III place – 68 000, team championship – 136 000;
D) IV place – 20 400, team championship – 40 800;
E) V place – 13,600, team championship – 27,200;
F) VI place – 6,800, team championship – 13,600.
According to the new version of the resolution, a solid cash prize is set at European, world and Olympic records and is set at 300,000, 200,000 and 100,000 GEL.

Article 1: Article 20, Paragraph 4 of the Organic Law of Georgia on Normative Acts, Amendments to the Law of Georgia on the Amendment to the Law of Georgia on the Structure, Powers and Rules of Procedure of the Government of Georgia (?3024-RS, 5/07/2018 ) Pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 2, “ approval “of the 6 January 2014 decree ?39 (www.matsne.gov.ge, 08/01/2014, 460080000.10.003.017575) amended and approved by the” sportsmen of promotion the target program “:
1. Article Articles 2 and 3 shall be worded as follows:
Article 2. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia shall cooperate with the A (A) IP – the Georgian National Olympic Committee, the A (A) IP – the Georgian Paralympic Committee and the National Sports Federations.
A) ensure the training of Georgian athletes for the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the organization of participation in the Games;

2. Paragraphs 17 and 18 of the following content shall be added to Article 4:
„17. The following cash prizes (in national team competitions (between the national teams):

C) for the establishment of a European record – GEL 100,000;
D) for the personal trainers of the personal trainers and teams of the athletes – 50 percent of the prize money determined for the athletes for setting a record for each of them;

3. Article 4 2 of the following content shall be added:
