The world’s most successful wrestling nation Russia already has set eyes on Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The golden generation of the Russian wrestling team led by world and olympic champion Abdulrashid Sadulaev has finished their first training camp for the Tokyo 2020 in a beautiful resort town of Adler. The entire squad of Russia, trainers, coaches had all assembled in Adler for a 2 week training camp and trained hard for the Mission 2020 Olympics. The ‘Russian Tank’ Sadulaev posted pictures of the training camp from Adler on his social handles with a message that the team trained extremely hard and after new year break we will resume our training once again.

The venues of the Russian championships in freestyle, Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling for 2020 has also been announced. As reported earlier, the pre-Olympic championship of Russia in Greco-Roman wrestling will be held January 15-20 in Novosibirsk. The freestyle championship will be held April 22-27 in Ulan-Ude, and the women’s tournament will be held in Kazan on May 7-10.
