Sagar was born (14/10/1998) in a Munda Kheda village of Jhajjar, Haryana .Since 2018 he is currently working for Indian Air force. He was inspired by wrestler Sushil Kumar to take up the wrestling as a career. He was trained in pehlwani wrestling at the akhada Chattrasal Stadium, Delhi from the age of 6. In 2018 the winning moment was the final bout which he won at the Senior National Championship held at Gonda against Haryana and the favourite sports are basketball and volleyball.
