Welcome back to the Social Room of WrestlingTV.in, the only place to catch all the inside stories in the world of wrestling. Social Room is a special series that enables you to have a peek in the lives of the wrestler outside the mat.
Staying in quarantine for so long is a tough task. And as the day progresses major missing of family and friends starts to seep in. Something similar happened to five-time World Champ Adeline Gray. The US wrestler recently shared a picture of herself with her grandmother and wrote an emotional caption for it. She said that she misses how she could visit her grandmother and loved sitting next to her while her grandmother admired her medals. But But “this #covid19 situation is keeping so many people from what they want to do. I wish I could go visit and hold her hand and give her my warmth and love and she can help me not be so sad about having to wait for 15 months for this dream,” she wrote
Adeline Gray – #throwbackthursday to when I could visit my grandma and get my emotional tank filled. I really do love old people.
She loves seeing my medals. She has #dementia but my life has stayed the same pretty much the last 15-20 years. The statements may have changed from “Look grandma I beat all the boys” to “look grandma, I beat the world”.
In her eyes I am still just wrestling and winning. She tells me to take care of my injuries. She always says “take them seriously” and “stop getting hurt”. I love getting to sit and hold her hand and listen to her breath and be. Our lives are so busy and event oriented that I feel like the forced meditation session I do are nothing compare to the few moments of touch and being I do when I sit with her. This #covid19 situation is keeping so many people from what they want to do. I wish I could go visit and hold her hand and give her my warmth and love and she can help me not be so sad about having to wait 15 months for this dream.

Erica Wiebe-There’s a lot to be grateful for these days. Adjusting to the “new normal” has been interesting and my daily routine is completely out of whack but I’m trying to use this time to be productive and creative….?here’s some of the things I’m up to:
?? Just did my first Down Dog Yoga class at home! The App is FREE until May 1 and allows for you to 100% customize your yoga class. I did a 25min quick flow taught by some sexy Australian voice named Chad. Twas aight ?
??I’m taking a FREE course on EdX on excel to brush up on my spreadsheet skills because ??
??I’ve had numerous group chats with various friends from across the WORLD (yesss mostly athletes) and it’s been encouraging and inspiring to hear about how everyone is handling this incredibly challenging situation. Reach out if you’re feeling down; you’re not alone. ?? @justonemoremoment.sport reached out and is organizing some Porchraits to support the Jr Dinos Wrestling Team and raise money for the @calgaryfoodbank which is how we got this photo. Send her a DM if you want in!
?? I’ve been getting my daily entertainment/perspective from reading the Unconventional Classroom blog by the very funny and talented @nmgalan #unconventionalclassrooms
