With just 365 days to go for the Tokyo Olympics, athletes from across the world have started getting in the groove of it. India has four confirmed quotas — three in men’s freestyle and one in women.
Tokyo Games were originally scheduled to take place this year but the unprecedented outbreak of covid-19 forced the organisers to postpone it. In April, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that the games have been moved to 2021.
Now, as the quadrennial sporting extravaganza is getting near, the four qualified wrestlers — Ravi Dahiya, Bajrang Punia, Deepak Punia and Vinesh Phogat — have amped up their training to get fit and regain their form.
