What is more synonymous with pop culture than athletes and their cars? Ever since the turn of the century sportspersons including wrestlers began making obscene amounts of money and this has enabled them to fill their garages with the most exotic and expensive cars in the world. While not every wrestler spends thousands on his or her car collection, those that do are ready to spend millions to get their hand on their dream vehicle.
WrestlingTV talked to some of the wrestlers to know which car they own and what their dream car is. Unsurprisingly, many of them already own a high-priced vehicle and are wanting for more.
Here are some wrestlers who share the car they have in their garage and which is their dream car:
Sakshi Malik: The 2016 Olympic medallist currently owns a BMW. But her dream car is the one which is made for the richest of the richest. Yes, we are talking about the gold standard amongst the cars – Rolls Royce.
Pooja Dhanda: The 2018 Commonwealth Games silver medallist drives a Kia Seltos. But her garage is still left vacant so that she can park her dream car after buying it. Dhanda told Wrestling TV that she dreams of being a proud owner of a BMW and an Audi car.
Harpreet: He is the 2020 Asian Championship bronze medallist in Greco-Roman style. Harpreet currently owns a Toyota Fortuner and a Mahindra Thar.
Divya Kakran: She has all the qualities to be called the flag-bearer for the next-gen. She is talented, ambitious and dares to dream big. And her dream car bears the testament to the claim. The 2020 Asian Championship gold medallist has a Maruti Suzuki Celerio but dreams to own a Range Rover someday.
Bajrang Punia: He is the poster boy for Indian wrestling. Bajrang currently has three cars in his garage – Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Scorpio and Volkswagen Vento. Now, his fourth car will be eco-friendly and in line with the ‘Made in India’ initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 2018 Asian Games gold medallist plan to by Tata E-vision which is an electric car.
Frank Chamizo: The two-time world champion apart from wrestling is known for his fashion and dance. And his car perfectly complements his personality. He drives a Mercedes Benz.
Jordan Burroughs: Everything about him personifies Uncle Sam and his USA. Burroughs personality stands for all the values the USA stands for—equality, independence, directness amongst other things. His car also personifies the same. The 2012 London Olympic Champion owns a White Cadillac SUV.
Abdulrashid Sadulaev: He owns some of the best cars. In his collection, he has a Mercedes Benz G63 AMG, BMW X6 and Toyota Land Cruiser 200.
