It is less than 4 weeks to go for the UWW U-23 World Wrestling Championships in Hungary and the host nation is all geared up for the 3rd edition of the championships. The Hungarian Wrestling Federation (MBSZ) has announced squad of 30 that will represent them at the U-23 World Championships beginning from Oct 28th. This will be second year in succession that UWW has given Budapest, Hungary to host the world championships. Last year Budapest successfully hosted 2018 senior world championships which was hailed as the best ever in the UWW history.
The U23 World Wrestling Championship will take place in the newly built sports hall of the National University of Public Service, Ludovika Campus. The hosts have announced full 30 member squad for the world championships i.e ten competitors per discipline of Greco-Roman, Freestyle Men & Women categories. The UWW and the local organizing committee has decided to make the gates free for the event, that means fans will not be required to purchase tickets to witness this world class action.
Hungary won 3 medals in the second edition of the U23 World Wrestling Championships as Bucharest. This time cheered by their home crowd they will go all out to better the 2018 medal tally.
