The Day 5 of the UWW U23 World Wrestling Championships is underway in Budapest, Hungary. India’s Greco-Roman wrestlers will put up their challenge from today. 3 time Junior world championship medallist Sajan in 77kg will be India’s biggest hope in the Greco-Roman competition. Sajan has drawn American Jesse Alexander Porter in the first round.

Other than 77kg, Arjun Halakurki in 55kg, Rajeet in 63kg, Sunil Kumar in 87kg and Deepak Poonia in 130kg will be on mat during the day and kick of their world championships.

But the biggest bout of the day for India will be in evening when India’s power-girl Pooja Gehlot will battle for bronze against the multiple world championship title winner Haruna Okuno of Japan.
