UWW announces European Wrestling Championship dates

United World Wrestling (UWW) will host the European Wrestling Championship in February. This will be the first tournament organised by the world wrestling body in the year 2021. The tournament is scheduled from 8 to 14 February in Katowice, Poland.

Moreover, UWW has also announced the dates for other age-group competitions in Europe. While the Cadet and U-23 event will be held in June and May respectively, the Junior European event will be held in July.

European Championship – Poland, Katowice, 8-14 February
U-23 European Championship – North Macedonia, Skopje, 17-23 May
Cadet European Championship – Bulgaria, Samokov, 14-20 June
Junior European Championship – Germany, Dortmund, 28 June – 4 July

UWW confirms 2021 world wrestling championship dates

UWW has confirmed that the world championship will be held after the Tokyo Olympics which is scheduled from July 23 to August 9. The worlds have been planned to be held in Oslo, Norway from October 2 to 10.

Juniors World Championship among juniors – Russia, Ufa, August 16-22
