Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) will be shifting the Indian women’s camp to New Delhi from Lucknow. The governing body decision is nothing to do with the Coronavirus fear but with renovation work instead. WFI Assistant Secretary Vinod Tomar said that they will be shifted as the SAI Center at Lucknow will be undergoing renovation.
“We will be shifting the team to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. They will train at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi and stay at JLN. They will be shifted after March 31,” he said.

“The decision is nothing to do with the current situation,” he added.
WFI has decided to keep the functioning of their two SAI camp, Sonepat for Men and Women camp going, despite the shut down of Bengaluru Center by SAI.
“We will be conducting the camps and there is no decision to cancel it,” he said.
The Sports Authority of India (SAI) announced shutting of SAI Bengaluru as a precautionary measure against the global pandemic.
Other Indian sporting events have also been affected by the rise in COVID-19 affected cases. In the wake of the current situation, the Indian government issued a communique.
As per the decree issued, all the incoming travellers including Indian nationals returning from any virus-hit Asian and European countries will be quarantined for a minimum of 14 days. Also, visitors from China, the Republic of Korea, Italy, Iran, France, Spain and Germany will be quarantined.
The government has also suspended visas until April 15.
