Iran wrestler Hossein Nouri returned to training within a week after recovering from covid-19. The wrestler was admitted to the hospital after showing symptoms for the virus. He fought the deadly virus for 20-days and was later released from the hospital after recovering.
Nouri said: “After about 20 days of illness, I am now in good condition and I have fully recovered.” In an interview with the public relations of the Wrestling Federation, the World Wrestling Bronze Medallist added: “From tomorrow, I will start my physical training exercises, to get the necessary preparation to participate in competitions.”

Who is Hossein Nouri?
Nouri won a bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships in Paris. The 87kg wrestler also won three gold medals in Asian Championships in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Nouri also claimed a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games.
