WWE News: WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was previously reported that to be written off the TV and his current run in WWE with Randy Orton was not going very long.
According to reports, Last month Randy Orton and Big Show faced off each other in an unsanctioned match on RAW but it was delayed because they kept Flair off the show for precautionary reasons since his wife Wendy Barlow tested positive for COVID-19.
However, Wrestling News now has reported that this angle of Ric Flair is finally going to reveal in this week’s Monday Night RAW which also leads us to the WEE’s next event at SummerSlam.
In a recent report, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter also spoke about this angle of Ric Flair however he is not very sure about the decision but Randy Orton and Ric Flair had been tapped.
“It’s already taped so Ric Flair is there and the Ric Flair angle I guess is probably already taped unless they canned it. At the last word, when they were doing the taping that afternoon, the Ric Flair angle was definitely still on the show. The only two things that were there [in the script] were Shane McMahon’s thing and the Ric Flair-Randy Orton angle and then they threw that show together at the end.”
Wrestling News’ report sheds further light on that. They explained that WWE is not much concerned about Flair at the moment as WWE is looking for a major match between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. And they had a focus on them and therefore, there is no need for Ric Flair in the feud. As a result of this, he is to be written off from TV.
