WWE COO Triple H had previously landed a successful deal with UFC great Rhonda Rousey and now has expressed interest in signing Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier. Speaking to TMZ Sports on Saturday, the Cerebral Assassin went into further detail about his admiration for the two MMA fighters. He said,” I love Daniel (Cormier), we have obviously talked a lot in the past. We have had conversations about him doing stuff with us in the past whether that is in-ring or whether that is commentary or doing different things”.

The 41-year-old UFC legend last fought in August 2019 where he lost his heavyweight title to Stipe Miocic. Following the defeat, he vowed to return to the octagon one final time for a rematch or maybe settle an old-heated feud with Jon Jones.
Triple H has been keeping a close watch on Cormier’s UFC plans and respects the wishes of both Mystic Mac and Dana White’s organisation.
“I think we’d love to do something with him if the time is right – obviously, respectful to UFC and to Dana and everything else,” Triple H told TMZ Sports. Regarding McGregor, his character, confidence and showboating tendencies are almost synonymous with the content that WWE provide. Therefore, switching from the Octagon to the wrestling ring could be a fairly smooth transition for the Irishman.
The sheer thought of enticing McGregor to Vince McMahon’s WWE franchise understandably caused a great deal of excitement for Triple H, as he enthusiastically said to TMZ: “I think that Conor McGregor versus McMahon with that Billion Dollar Walk on the line? I think that’s a match made in heaven!”
Nonetheless, while Cormier coming on board with WWE is a high possibility, the Notorious Irishman, on the other hand, has his eyes set on something else. UFC legend Anderson Silva via social media has challenged McGregor to an MMA bout to which the latter responded: “I accept”.
