Another week, another WWE Monday Night Raw. The Vince McMahon owned company is gearing up for its next pay-per-view (PPV) Backlash 2020 which will be held on June 14. And while they are at it, each episode of WWE Raw, Smackdown and NXT will now become important in the run-up to the main event.

-Christian returns to WWE with ‘The Peep Show’
On WWE RAW tonight, Christian is returning with his famous chat show “The Peep Show”. WWE has confirmed that the Rated R Superstar Edge will appear as the guest. Taking a cue from WWE’s past, there is a high possibility that the talk show will be interrupted by Randy Orton. And given Orton’s history with both Edge and Christian makes this prediction even more believable.
Both Orton and Edge are going to lock horns at the upcoming Backlash 2020 in what is dubbed as the ‘Greatest Wrestling Match Ever’.
-Seth Rollins, Austin Theory and Murphy will defeat Humberto Carrillo and Aleister Black
In the previous WWE Raw segment, Aleister Black pinned the Monday Night Messiah. After this, Rollins, Theory and Murphy brutally assaulted Black and Carrillo. Given the last week events, WWE can organise a handicap match for tonight’s Monday Night Raw. If this happens, Rollins and team will likely win given the advantage they have.
Whatever the result, this could possibly be a start of new rivalry and a match-up for WWE Backlash 2020.
-Kevin Owens vs Angel Garza will get confirmed for Backlash 2020
Kevin Owens and Angel Garza have been feuding for a few weeks now. I think that we are heading towards them facing off at the Backlash PPV. This could be a fun match for the undercard at the PPV. My guess is that WWE makes this match official on the next episode of RAW.
-Apollo Crews to face Cedric Alexander in an Open Challenge
After successfully defending his US title against Kevin Owens in the previous episode of WWE Raw, we can have a small segment of him throwing up an open challenge once again tonight. And I believer Cedric Alexander would grab the opportunity to win the title.
This could be a fun match for the episode and it would also give Apollo a nice win. I think that he needs to keep piling up wins right now to seem like a more credible Champion.
-The Street Profits vs The Viking Raiders for the Backlash 2020
The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders have been going heads and toes in various sports over the past several weeks. It includes bowling, gold and many more. But they are yet to test each other’s skills in the ring. Therefore, it is safe to presume that they will ultimately settle their difference at Backlash 2020 for the Raw Tag Team Championships.
-Bobby Lashley and Lana will finally part ways
Over the past weeks, WWE on Monday Night Raw has teased that Bobby Lashley and Lana could be saying goodbye for good. This comes after MVP has become Lashley’s new manager.
Given the rising tension between the two superstars, there is a possibility that Lashley will dump Lana. This will also show fans that Lashley is to be taken seriously in his current feud against Drew McIntyre.
