WWE News: Last week on Smackdown the Intercontinental Championship match between AJ Styles and Drew Gulka was cancelled due to the outbreak of Covid in WWE. Reportedly, both the superstars had come in contact with Renee Young who was tested positive for the virus and therefore they were quarantined. Now, after no official confirmation on their health status, it is believed that the pending championship match can be held this week on WWE Smackdown.
The rivalry between Styles and Gulak has been brewing for a couple of week’s now. They have previously met early in June, where the latter defeated The Phenomenal One.

Any match which has AJ Styles competing is always a crowd gatherer. And this match was no different.
WWE fans were excited to watch this battle as ‘the phenomenal one’ was the favourite but counting out Gulak would be foolish as his amazing skills and enthusiasm could turn the things on another side.
This week’s blue brand can be more immersing if this IC title match goes as per the fans’ demand and they get to cheer for something before the big event — The Extreme Rules: The Horror Show. But nothing is confirmed yet.
The match might just get completely postponed for the WWE PPV or it may get cancelled.
