As the novel coronavirus continues to rapidly spread, a growing number of sports stars and teams have come together to help people combat the coronavirus crisis. While some are doing their bit by making huge donations, others are taking to the street and distributing food and essentials items. India’s two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar is one of them.

The 36-year-old praised the police personnel especially women officers for their brave work to help people in need during these trying times. He even helped the police in distributing the food in Najafgarh. Kumar took to Twitter and posted the pictures. He captioned it saying “salute and hats off to the Delhi Police and our officers working in the hard times to provide food and safety to our citizens. Especially the female officers making the food themselves. Proud to be a part of this great work at the Najafgarh police station”.

David Taylor – I don’t really know what world we will get to introduce you to when you are born. I wanted you to be kissed by your grandparents, scooped up by your aunts and uncles, and passed around from friend to friend so that they could take in the wonder of you. When you get here, things might be different than I imagined. Quiet. Like the world is holding its breath waiting to see what will happen next. But there will be plenty. Plenty of love, plenty of time, plenty of rest, plenty of memories made. And when you are held by people who love you, it will be with a rich reverence birthed from a season of distancing. You will be held by family and friends with a special kind of gratitude that only babies born in a pandemic will know. You are so loved, and we are so ready to meet you, kid!?

Sadulaev Abdulrashid – Assalamu alaikum, dear brothers and sisters! So the blessed Ramadan came.
.
This year the month of fasting will be special for us, home. And let this whole situation around be an occasion to think about the main thing and overestimate the values. Now is the time to pay more attention to your families, to delve into the study of our religion.

I wish everyone patience, good health and strength to spend this month with dignity. May Allah protect us from all ills and diseases!
