As the novel coronavirus continues to rapidly spread, a growing number of sports stars and teams have come together to help people combat the coronavirus crisis. While some are doing their bit by making huge donations, others are taking to the street and distributing food and essentials items. India’s two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar is one of them.

The 36-year-old praised the police personnel especially women officers for their brave work to help people in need during these trying times. He even helped the police in distributing the food in Najafgarh. Kumar took to Twitter and posted the pictures. He captioned it saying “salute and hats off to the Delhi Police and our officers working in the hard times to provide food and safety to our citizens. Especially the female officers making the food themselves. Proud to be a part of this great work at the Najafgarh police station”.
